SLC welcomes any ladies who are able and willing to enjoy singing with others in a friendly and supportive environment.

Singers with SLC are not required to be able to read music; this can be an advantage sometimes and a hindrance at others. There are no auditions so prospective members are invited to sing with the choir for a few weeks before deciding in conjunction with the musical director whether the choir is right for them. 
 
There are currently around 30 members but there is scope for more!  We charge a monthly fee to cover costs of our rehearsal venue, music, accompanists and any other professional musician fees. We aim for 36 rehearsals during the year.
